- El Moez Street:
El Moez Street is one of the oldest streets in Egypt which has been built by the Fatimids 1040 years ago. It’s located in El Azhar street and is considered as the biggest open-air museum of Islamic monuments all over the world. In El Moez you’ll enjoy taking a tour around the Islamic architecture which is characterized by old cultural and historical spirit in a pedestrian street that is paved with Aswan’s granite. Also, In addition to the ancient and magnificent mosques, El Moez street contains Bab Zuweila, Bab al-Nasr, and Bab al-Futuh.
- Khan el-Khalili:
Khan el-Khalili street is parallel to El Moez street. It contains Al-Hussein mosque. Also, what is really distinctive about this street is that it retains the spirit of old Egypt such as the ancient Egyptian-style, the next-door stores, and the selling goods (hand-made carpets, jewelry, and Pharaonic statues). - Salah El-Din Citadel:
Salah El-Din Citadel is located in the “Citadel” district and it has been built by sultan al-Kamil bin al-Adel as Salah el-Din died before finishing it. The citadel is distinctive by its stunning architectural design. It also contains a number of doors such as the Mokattam door (the mountain door), the new door, the runway door, and the door of the Janissaries.
